The headquarters of the Austrian post-office in Vienna were honoured with the architectural state award in the category “Administration”.

The architectural office Schenker Salvi Weber Architekten ZT GmbH in cooperation with feld72 architekten zt gmbh were responsible for the planning of this project.
The Post am Rochus convinced the jury of experts with the “consistent concept in integrating art, which enters into a successful symbiosis with the building”.
The facade artwork was created by Peter Kogler and implemented by Lang+Lang in the facades of the courtyards. Originally a file, out of which over 1200 glasses of the facade where produced and divided into the individual levels of the building.
Lang+Lang’s dimax®ceramic digital print artistically refined the VSG-glasses.
Together with the architects, we are happy about the given award.
